2023 Carters Annual Charity & Not-for-Profit Law Webinar

Thursday, November 9, 2023

Carters is pleased to announce that the 2023 Carters Annual Charity & Not-for-Profit Law Webinar
will continue to be held virtually this year by popular demand. We invite you to join us on Thursday, November 9, 2023 starting at 9:00 am ET and finishing at 12:50 pm ET.

The Carters Annual Charity & Not-for-Profit Law Webinar is designed to assist charities and not-for-profits in understanding developing trends in the law in order to reduce exposure to legal liability. The webinar continues its tradition of serving the broader faith community, including religious organizations, as it has every year since 1994.

Carters Professional Corporation is a law firm with offices in Orangeville, Ottawa and Toronto with extensive experience in serving charities, not-for-profits and religious organizations, operating across Canada as well as internationally.

The special speaker this year is Robert Lefebvre, Ottawa Police Services. Supervisor - Background Clearance Unit, on the topic of Vulnerable Sector Checks: What Charities and NFPs Need to Know.

This year, the cost of registration for this webinar is $35.00 per person to make sure that as many people can attend as possible. On demand replay will not be made available, so the only way to access the presentations will be to register for the webinar.

This webinar is eligible for 3.5 substantive hours towards the annual Law Society of Ontario (LSO) CPD and CPA Professional Development requirements.
