The Ottawa Region Charity & Not-for-Profit Law Seminar, hosted by Carters Professional Corporation in Nepean on February 18, 2010, was attended by more than 280 professionals from the sector, including directors of charities, government officials, accountants and lawyers. Designed to provide practical information to assist charities in understanding and complying with recent developments in the law, the related Church & Charity Law seminar has been held annually in Toronto since 1994 with an Ottawa seminar first added in 2008.
