–In an agency relationship, a registered charity
can appoint an agent to act as its representative to carry
out specific tasks on behalf of the charity
–An agent is used when the
charity cannot send its staff to a
region to carry out an activity
–The charity relies entirely on the agent to carry out its activities on its behalf
